Nilesh K. Raval, MD

Dr. Raval received his bachelor's degree and graduated with high honors as a Stamps Scholar from the University of Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He attended Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine for his ophthalmology residency, where he was selected to serve as a chief resident and received the Outstanding House Officer Award. Dr. Raval completed his Vitreoretinal Surgery training at the world-renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he helped publish a novel endolaser technique that can be used in chandelier scleral buckling surgery. Dr. Raval is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Raval has served as an Advocacy Ambassador for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has authored many peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals in ophthalmic literature. Dr. Raval is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care to each and every one of his patients.
